Niacinamide is a commonly overlooked but powerful anti-aging ingredient.

Although niacinamide is one of the best anti-aging ingredients out there. There's something you should know.

YOU MUST HAVE A CONCENTRATION OF AT LEAST 5% + TO SEE RESULTS
Niacinamide is such an effective anti-aging ingredient that it is included in a MYRIAD of anti aging products, HOWEVER, studies have shown that unless the concentration of niacinamide is 5% or higher, you may not see results.

What Is Niacinamide? Niacinamide, otherwise known as vitamin B3 or nicotinamide has been proven to have contribute to more youthful looking skin in ways such as:

  • Minimizing the appearance of pores and pore size

  • Minimizing redness & blotchiness

  • Regulating the amount of oil sebaceous glands produce for a more even complexion

  • Protecting against sun damage

  • Lightening dark spots

  • Supporting collagen production in skin

  • Protecting against oxidative stress, environmental stressors to skin

  • Improving the appearance of wrinkles, soften wrinkles and fine lines

What are the results of studies on Niacinamide? Check out the results of a series of studies on niacinamide and it's effects on fine lines and wrinkles, poor skin texture, and hyperpigmentation (dark spots):
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16029679 The studies resulted in these findings: "In multiple chronic clinical studies, topical niacinamide (vitamin B3) has been observed to be well tolerated by skin and to provide a broad array of improvements in the appearance of aging facial skin (eg, reduction in the appearance of hyperpigmentated spots and red blotchiness)."

Niacinamide is included in many, many anti-aging products as an added ingredient, but not usually included in a high enough concentration to get the full benefit of its effects. A 5% concentration is needed to achieve the full range of anti-aging effects, according to the studies listed in the link above.
