Signs of Low Vitamin C Levels

A vitamin C deficiency can manifest itself in various ways. But, here are some of the most common signs of a vitamin C deficiency:

  1. Unhealthy Skin
    Vitamin c is one of the key elements that supports healthy skin. When there is a vitamin c deficiency, skin looks dry, wrinkled and/or rough and bumpy as well.

  2. Bruising Easily
    Another sign of low vitamin c levels, is bruising often and easily. Low vitamin c levels can lead to weak blood vessels.

  3. Slow Healing Wounds
    If your injuries or wounds seem to be taking forever to heal, you may have a vitamin c deficiency.

  4. Painful or Swollen Joints
