Which Antioxidant Is Best?

As I continue to test serums and oils for their effects on dark spots, my regimen has become more and more OIL BASED.

Why Are Antioxidant Oils Better?

1. Oils Penetrate Deeper
Oils have an affinity with our skin oils and are able to penetrate deeper into the skin than most water based products.

2. Oils Create a Moisture Lock
Oils lock in moisture helping speed up the skin’s healing and renewal process.

3. Skin Vitamins Work Better in Oil
Many antioxidant vitamins (like A, D, E, and K) are fat-soluble, meaning they dissolve better in oils and can be absorbed more efficiently by the skin.

4. It’s More Natural
Many oils are naturally rich in skin health boosting vitamins.

5. Oils Are Soothing & Calm Redness
Most skin-friendly oils contain anti-inflammatories that soothe redness and irritation.

Which Oil Is Best For Your Skin?

It depends on your skin type & the look and feel you want.

These oils below are the oils I’ve used - I vary when I use them depending on what my skin needs at the time. Astaxanthin I use daily and regularly us castor oil and pomegranate oil. See which oil below fits your skin needs!
